CAR SHOWROOM, SEBERGH

A new showroom, MOT bay, office and hard standing for vehicle display was designed to replace the existing building for RS Morphet Ltd. The new building was designed to be built adjoining the existing workshop with the vehicle display area between this and the main road to improve emphasis on sales. Planning permission and building regulations approval were sought and granted and Class 4 MOT facilities were designed to the exacting national standards to enable the construction to be carried out by MK Conversions Ltd.

SOCIAL HOUSING, SABDEN, CLITHEROE

Planning permission was already granted for these eight new homes, for rent and for sale. The location is a low level site between the main road and a brook, which called for special detail design to fit the homes into a steeply sloping site within the landscape at the edge of the village. Working for the design and build contractor, Globe Construction, detail design was carried out leading to gaining full building regulations approval, Code for sustainable homes level 3 and Secure by Design. Amendments to the planning approval, highways stopping up and detail design amendments as the work progressed on site for the contractor client were undertaken.
